I grew up overseas and attended international schools in Israel, Bolivia and Myanmar. My love of teaching was fostered by having dedicated teachers at my schools and by my parents who were both teachers. After graduating from Chico State University in 2011, I was fortunate to return to Yangon, Myanmar and teach 2nd grade students at the Myanmar International School. I also taught 1st-5th grade ESL students in Netanya, Israel before moving to Sonoma County in 2013 to join the Multiple Subject credential program at Sonoma State University to pursue my teaching career. I completed the program in December 2014.
This will be my second year with Kawana Springs Elementary. I hope to share my experiences with the students at Kawana Springs Elementary and encourage them to be global citizens and life long learners. I pride myself in creating a very interactive classroom with many activities to enrich my student's learning environment. My goal is to have a classroom of respect and collaboration which will help all of my students to reach their potential.
